This is a Box Elder bowl that will be coming soon. The bright red streak is a caused by a pigment in a fungus that regularly afflicts these trees.
Inspired by the guys behind Best Made Co. and Base Camp X, I have decided to try my hand at making my own axe handle and restoring some old axe heads. The process seems straightforward, but I am looking forward to testing my work. Looks like we have to go camping soon.
